Violinist Alison Bailey has been performing for wedding ceremonies and receptions, special events, and concerts in New Hampshire and Northeastern Massachusetts for over thirty years. Her warm tone and beautiful playing bring out the best in her Italian hand-made Piccagliani violin.

Alison is able to sensitively help brides and families create memorable weddings with skills she has developed through formal music training and her years of experience. With a focus on classical repertoire, popular selections and favorite religious pieces, she creates satisfying, individualized musical programs.

A former concertmaster of the New Hampshire Philharmonic, based in Manchester, NH, Alison has performed extensively throughout the region, including performances with the Indian Hill Symphony, based in Groton/Littleton MA and the Nashua Symphony Orchestra, as well as solo performances with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hollis Town Band where she played Monti's popular gypsy-style crowd-pleaser, Csardas. Performances have taken her to places in New Hampshire such as Hudson, Merrimack, Hollis, Manchester and Wilton. In Massachusetts she has performed at venues in Lowell, Dunstable, Groton, Ayer, Andover and Methuen.

During the course of earning her Master of Music Degree in Violin Performance, and for several years prior, Alison was privileged to study with Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist, Joseph McGauley.

Alison maintains a private teaching studio in Nashua, NH. Most of her performing is currently as a freelance artist for weddings, church services and private events. Occasionally she plays with the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra based in Meredith, NH. She is a past adjunct faculty member of Merrimack College, Rivier University, and UMass Lowell.
