David H. Bailey
Bugler
Contact David via e-mail
for information on having him play Taps at funerals of veterans.
David is proud to play Taps for free at the funerals of veterans as his way
of thanking them for their service to the United States of America.
David's father was a career Army man, and his father-in-law
served in the United States Army during World War II.
Honorarium welcome, but David offers this service without expectation of a fee.
David H. Bailey is available to play for funerals of veterans in a geographical area
with Nashua, New Hampshire as the center. Please e-mail David or call 603-883-2448
to find out if he is available to play at a funeral you are planning.
If David is unable to help you, there is a national organization
which may be able to help you locate a bugler who can play for you.
Bugles Across America was founded in 2000 by Tom Day.
The purpose was to find volunteers to help fill the need for buglers
to play Taps at the funerals of veterans. The Department of Defense
has been unable to provide buglers for many of the funerals of veterans,
especially from World War II, Korea, and Viet Nam,
but also for active duty personnel killed in action.
Many members of Bugles Across America are veterans themselves, but many are not.
All are proud to be able to offer the playing of Taps for veterans.
If you do not live in my area, please follow the link to Bugles Across America to locate a bugler near you.
